I have read 90 mins to lose and 30 min to maintain. that was with walking tho. i dnt like running bc its suppose to be hard on the joints in the long run.

Calories in vs. calories out. you need to burn or cut out 3500 calories to loose one lb. so if you cut out 500 calories a day from your normal eating habbits and run enough to burn 150 calories then in a week youll loose a pound bla bla bla just remember you need to loose 3500 calories to loose one lb. but with your cardio, try interval training.
