Walking is not really that good for Weight loss. Why? because humans are amazing efficient walkers. we can actually out walk any other mammal. mostly it's because we have 2 legs and not 4. Having said that, however, getting into any exercise routine is better than none and if this is your first step, pun intended an it leads to other, better exercise that's great. Do it for you stamina and cardio vascular system. just don't expect it to help much with weight. And take 8-12,000 IU of vitamin D daily and get your blood level checked. It's the most important "vitamin " (it's actually closer to a hormone) you can take. Especially if you live in northern latitudes. I assume your British from the use of stone. |
