Will a no carb diet help me to lose weight?
i am on a no carb diet. all i eat is fruit, veggies, meat and dairy. i am wondering if a similar diet has worked for anyone else out there.
Are no carb diets better than low carb diets?
I want to start an Atkins like diet but it is so hard finding fruits and vegetables with no carbs. On the other hand low carb diets offer fruit and veggies.
What do you think about the no carb diet?
My husband is doing the no carb diet to take some weight off. What do you think of this paticular diet? I think you start out pretty much no carb then a little carbs and over time when the weight is off you can indulge in some icecream once a week... nothing huge.

What's better the south beach diet or a no carb diet?
Is a no carb diet a bad idea?
I started yesterday and feel extremely crabby and hungry. Are there any good recipes? I am following the body opus diet which allows one to have proteins and fats during the week and carbs on the weekends. I am small but have more body fat than I would like to have and am getting married in 4 weeks and trying to get in the best shape...
Do you think being on a low/no carb diet for 3 months is OK?
Basically, the Atkins diet.I know this diet isn't good for long term because it raises your blood pressure and cholesterol. But other diets haven't worked for me because I'm breastfeeding and eating fewer calories cause problems with producing breast milk. For those of you who don't know about the Atkin's diet, it's basically eating nothing but meats which have little or no carbs .
Has anyone actually felt good on the low or no carb diet? I actually feel good with energy.?
I started this low or no carb diet due to my mother's death of diabetes complications. I have to admit I felt a little loopy on the 1st day but the 2nd and now my 3rd day I actually feel good and in a great mood too. I'm taking every precaution to make sure I do get enough vitamins in food and take a multivitamin as insurance as I have done before I started my new eating habits.I wonder if these results are typical among families that are predisposed to diabetes because almost all of my family has diabetes and I felt like I was heading in that direction.I've always ate healthy before, never had junk food or convience food in my household because I wanted my kids to grow up healthy too. I workded out 4 5 a week with weights and lots of cardio with my husband and he has witnessed my weight struggle since I turned 30 it went down hill from there. Yeah after 4 kids, going to nursing school, and now 33yrs. I've done the the low fat diets, calorie restrictions diets which made me into a witch, nothing worked even when I amped my workouts to 7 days a week. My husband has seen my weight struggle, but I'm not 20yrs. anymore so weight is not an issue anymore it's more of my fear of diabetes and it's complications.I'm 33yrs. 5'4 and weigh 165lbs I guess any weight loss is a blessing. I wonder if anyone who is diabetic has had better health on the low carb or no carb diet?Okay my question is about how someone feels at the beging of a low or no carb diet and how they have been feeling after a while being on the new eating habits with any improvement on diabetes not on weight loss. I know how it works and I take into account of my calories consumed everyday. I'm sorry if I confused anyone.I'm really like the responses I never was a potato chips, candy, donuts eater I always ate complex carbs for example carrots, apples, lots of leafy greens and lots of whole grains, brown rice that sort of foods. I've always eaten healthy as far as I can remember and ate to where I was just satisfied.I am of Mexican decent my parents would tell me our family who had lived in the mountains of Mexico with not much variety like fruits and grains that modern life gives us today. Back then diabetes, obesity, among other health problems were unheard of. The more I think about it it's my ancestry, genes that have alot to do with it.
