1000 calorie diet...but very little exercise, will I even lose weight?
Hi everyone.I am on a 1000 calorie diet, but I am limited to how much I can exercise due to a bad car accident that took a big toll on my body.Im trying so hard to lose weight, by doing this diet, but really the most exercise I can do is walk about 30 45 minutes a day due to VERY bad knees.Will I even see results or lose weight by doing this diet & & just walking 30 minutes a day??Serious answers only.Thanks all.
Can I eat as many fruits as I want, additional to my 1200 calorie diet and still lose weight?
If I eat 1200 calories a day of regular foods PLUS lots of fruits will I still lose weight?Because I have been doing this the last few days. I've been eating 1200 calories. and then I've been eating lots of fruit but I haven't counted the calories for the fruit. For fruit I mainly eat Granny Smith apples, oranges, grape fruit, blueberries, raspberries.It's just I find it easier to stay on the diet when I eat fruit, because I love it so much. And I hear fruit is 70 % water or something like that, so wouldnt the fruit metabolize faster and go right through me?
Switching between high calorie and low calorie diets daily for muscle gain and fat loss?
Im starting to work out now and i want to lose fat yet also gain some muscle...i was wondering if it is possible that lets say for example eating a high protein diets on monday and lifting weights on monday THEN on tuesday eating a low calorie diet and doing cardio.. if this method would be effective?If not any other suggestions or ideas would be welcome
500 calorie diet but adequate amount of protein and vitamins?
If I were to go on a 500 calorie diet and take a lot of supplements,including those that contain a high amount of protein,would that reduce the negative side effects of going on such a low calorie diet?I would pretty much be getting everything the body needs except for the recommended amount of calories.
Losing weight on a naturaly low calorie diet?
i no people say this is bad but i naturaly only eat around this much not on weekends alcohol puts me over but monday to friday i have 100 200 for brekki. 100 300 for lunch and 300 for dinnerand im not starving... ive been like this for at least 2 3 yearsi no i dont eat much but im not skinny.. average buildand i wanted to lose some weight and tone up.. but how can i lose weight if i cut my calorie intake anylower i wont be eating anything...?

It's bad enough that I'm having to pinch pennies to survive because of the economy but now science is dropping hints that skinny people live longer At least, they've now proved that skinny monkeys do live longer First my wallets shrinks and then I hear my love of food is possibly jeopardizing my brain function and longevity. I tried an ascetic lifestyle back in the '70's for a few years so maybe that will balance off my lack of moderation in consuming calories by the hundreds Well, they can shrink my income but as long as there's food a plenty my 40 inch waistline will be protected. Hey, what's a few vanity pounds anyway, lol?How do you stand on the subject?

Restricted calorie diet, now looking to increase food intake, more details inside- help?
I've been on an 800 calorie day diet for some time now and have the results i want. Since i dint want to get any thinner, i want to increase my food intake, However because I have restricted my calories, my body will more than likely store most of the calories as fat however, i was wondering, If I increase my calorIes by 50 a week will this raise my metabolism a bit at a time and stop me gaining weight? I want to start eating around 1200 Cal's so it would take me me 8 weeks to get up to that amount. Or would i be better increasing my calories evey 2 weeks again by 50?Thank youAll advice is much appreciated

Around how much weight will I lose in about 2-3 weeks under 400 calorie diet..?
I know its not a healthy way of dieting, and i know the weight can come back just as fast as its lost, but i am just wondering about how much weight would i lose in 2 3 weeks if i eat 400 calories or less? for example, i would have a zone bar in the morning 210 calories and then a small chicken caeser salad with no dressing so basiclly skinless chicken with lettuce which is about 150 200 calories? Would i possibly lose anywhere around 10 15 pounds? I need to lose weight fast and will eventually go into a much healthier way of eating..
